ANAMNESIS
/ SYMPTOMS:
A 39 year old patient suffers from a hoarsness of unknown origin and an unilateral
sore throat.
FINDINGS:
In
the right lateral cervical region below the sternocleidomastoid
muscle, above the external
and internal carotid artery and medial of the internal
jugular vein two small, ovally shaped and hypoechoic
structures with strong internal echo signals and an extent of about 5 mm
each are visible.
DIAGNOSIS:
The patient is suspected of having cervical
lymphadenitis. Hilar structures are clearly visible.
