ANAMNESIS
/SYMPTOMS:
A 57 year old patient shows a swelling in the area of the neck that is existing
for some years and soft on palpation.
FINDINGS:
In
the area of the neck a subcutaneous located low
echoic septated tumour with stronger
echoic septal walls is visible. The tumour is well definable from the surrounding
tissue.
It lies above the muscle
layer of the neck.
DIAGNOSIS:
The patient is suspected of having a nuchal
lipoma.
