ANAMNESIS
/ SYMPTOMS:
A 78 year old patient underwent operation of a tumour of the left parotid gland
two weeks ago. Now the patient shows an increasing swelling in the left parotid
region.
FINDINGS:
In
the area of the former operation field shows an echofree, smoothly bordered tumour with
an extent of 19 x 13 x 12 mm that is located subcutaneous.
DIAGNOSIS:
The patient
is suspected of having a salivary
cyst after
undergoing partial excision of the parotid gland.
