ANAMNESIS
/ SYMPTOMS:
A 87 year old patient reports about a slowly growing, spherical tumour in the
region of the left parotid gland that is not tender.
FINDINGS:
Located
superficial in the parenchyma of the left parotid
gland a
sharply bordered, spherical and hypoechoic tumour with
an extent of 24 x 13 mm and distal signal amplification is visible.
DIAGNOSIS:
The patient
is suspected of having an adenoma of
the left parotid
gland.
