ANAMNESIS / SYMPTOMS:
A 48 year old patient suffers from a bilateral swelling of the cheeks and reports about a dryness of the mouth and eyes.


FINDINGS:
The parotid gland is sonographically clearly softened in its structure and shows hypo- and hyperechoic shares. A typical cloudy structure is recognizable. The masseter muscle is without pathological findings.


DIAGNOSIS:
The patient is suspected of having a Sjörgren´s disease.
