ANAMNESIS
/ SYMPTOMS:
The patient shows a swelling of the left and right lateral cervical region. He
complains about a mildly sore throat.
FINDINGS:
Medial
of the internal
jugular vein as well as of the common
carotid artery and medial of the sternocleidomastoid
muscle a hypoechoic
tumour with some stronger
echo-reflecting shares and an extent of about 5 x 4 mm is visible
that can be interpreted in terms of a hilar lymphatic node.
DIAGNOSIS:
The patient is suspected of having a cervical
lymphadenitis of the right side.
