ANAMNESIS
/ SYMPTOMS:
A 67 year old patient complains about globus sensation. An otorhinolaryngologic
laryngeoscopy delivers no proof of a pathological process.
FINDINGS:
In
the left cervical region is on a transversal plain a hypoechoic tumour with
a size of 8 x 4 mm and a clearly recognizable hilar structure visible. It is
located between thyroid
gland, common
carotid artery and internal jugular vein and caudal of the sternocleidomastoid
muscle and the omohyoid
muscle.
DIAGNOSIS:
Chronic
lymphadenitis
