ANAMNESIS
/ SYMPTOMS:
A 26 year old patient sees the doctor because of a bilateral swelling of the
neck that exists for some months. It reaches cranially up into the submandibular
compartment.
FINDINGS:
In
the area of the neck some hypoechoic
structures are
visible, one being located near the right submandibular
gland with
a longitudinal oval extent.
DIAGNOSIS:
With a known positive serology on toxoplasmosis the patient suffers from lymphadenitis resulting
from toxoplasmosis.
