CASE HISTORY/CLINIC:
57-year-old female with diagnosed breast cancer. Patient has severe headache.



FINDINGS:
No abnormality on T1 and T2 images. Evidence of a left-sided
temporoparietal tape-like hyperintensity on FLAIR. The postcontrast T1 (axial and coronary) shows, unlike in the pre-contrast image, contrast enhancement of the thickened left fronto-parieto-occipital meninges.


DIAGNOSIS:
Meningiosis carcinomatosa


DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS:
Meningitis
Subdural hemorrhage
