CASE HISTORY/CLINIC:
47-year-old patient with renal cell carcinoma and chronic headache.



FINDINGS:
Thickening of the
inner table of the frontal bone, distinc interface between cortical margin and cancellous bone/diploë. Indentation or gap in the zones of bony thickening caused by dural veins and/or venous sinuses.
The thickening of the inner table corresponds to the bony signal in all the sequences shown.



DIAGNOSIS:
No evidence of metastases.
Side finding: hyperostosis frontalis interna.


DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS:
Paget disease
fibrous dysplasia of bone
Metastases
