CASE HISTORY/CLINIC:
57-year-old female with bitemporal hemianopia.



FINDINGS:
The precontrast T1 shows an intermediate signal of a well-circumscribed intra- and suprasellar mass lesion which enhances inhomogeneously and prominently after contrast application.
Consecutive upward shifting and compression of the optic chiasma.
The pituitary stalk is no more clearly defined.


DIAGNOSIS:
Pituitary tumor (Prolaktinoma) with intra- and suprasellar portions.
