CASE HISTORY/CLINIC:
2 months old patient. Mother claims the newborn fell from the diaper changing table.



FINDINGS:
In comparison to the right side there is an asymmetric discontinuity of the left
parietal calvaria (see CCT in bony window).
A homogeneous parafalcine concave hyperdensity (about 70 HE) is seen on the left parieto-occipital side in the precontrast soft-tissue window.



DIAGNOSIS:
Left parietal skull fracture and acute parafalcine subdural hematoma on the left parietooccipital side.


DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS:
Sutures
Battered child syndrom
