CASE HISTORY:
17-year-old Patient, unconscious after a bicycle accident.


FINDINGS:
Left-sided parietal crescent hypodense fluid collection causing midline shift to the right and compression of the left ventricle due to mass effect (compare left and right lateral ventricles). Flattened gyri and sulci.


DIAGNOSIS:
Left-sided parietal subdural hemorrhage with mass effect, midline shift to the right, compression of the left lateral ventricle and brain edema.
