CASE
HISTORY / CLINIC:
Mentally retarded patient with untypical headache referred for clearance of sinusitis.
Discharge of fetid secretion from the right nasal cavity for two weeks. Mucous
purulent secretion was found in the right nasal cavity during endoscopy.
FINDINGS:
The
image of the Paranasal sinuses demonstrates a roundish
opacity in the left frontal sinus, bordering the septum between
the right and the left frontal sinuses. The sinuses are clear. No
significant deviation of the septum.
DIAGNOSIS:
Osteoma
in the left frontal sinus. No sinusitis.
