CASE
HISTORY / CLINIC:
66-year-old patient known for alcohol abuse. Patient suffers
from intense retching reflex (gag reflex) and severe retrosternal pains.
FINDINGS:
Early phase (left) and delayed phase (right) images. Leakage
of contrast medium on the left lateral side of the distal esophagus.
Side finding: roundish
filling defect in the esophageal lumen causing stenosis which
obstructs the stomach
tube.
