CASE HISTORY / CLINIC:
52-year-old patient with history of liver metastases. Inserted central venous catheter for chemotherapy. Upper inflow congestion for many weeks.



FINDINGS:
Filling defect in the superior vena cava upon contrast administration. Multiple mediastinal lymph nodes.


DIAGNOSIS:
Thrombosis of the superior
vena cava due to a central venous catheter.
Inflamed mediastinal lymph nodes
