HISTORY / CLINIC:
23-year-old victim of a car accident involving drunk driving. Hematuria and low
Hb.
FINDINGS:
Hypodense lines in the spleen and
in the left
upper renal pole. A
little fluid collection around the spleen and the right lobe of the liver
of density similar to blood.
DIAGNOSIS:
Rupture
of the spleen and kidney with blood in
the abdominal cavity.
