CASE HISTORY / CLINIC:
Status post traffic accident. Low hemoglobin.


FINDINGS:

Homogeneous paravertebral shadow with consecutive medial displacement of the right ureter.
Discontinuity of the right ureter and congestion of the right renal pelvis.
Compare with the left kidney which has a physiological renal pelvis and a supple ureter with a proper delineation.
Intestines overlie left kidney



DIAGNOSIS:

Paravertebral retroperitoneal bleeding on the right with a medial displacement of the right ureter and congestion of the right renal pelvis.
