CASE
HISTORY / CLINIC:
Patient after a traffic accident.
FINDINGS:
Demonstration
of the pericardium.
There is air
between the pericardium and the epicardium indicating a pneumopericardium.
The right pleural cavity is filled with air as
well.
The visceral
pleura and a right axillary subcutaneous
emphysema are visualized.
Visualization of the right
lung.
DIAGNOSIS:
Pneumothorax, pneumopericardium and subcutaneous
emphysema.
